Ib Kofod Larsen's furniture initially peaked in popularity during the 1950's and 1960's before being even more sought-after by the modern homeowners of the 21st Century. 

Initially designed for the Swedish market, Larsen designed practical, clean and simple designer furniture which met the needs of the average Swede. However, it was when the Danish market heard of is designs when his popularity skyrocketed; his Faarup sideboards winning immediate recognition. 

 He now has fans worldwide and is work is appreciated on a global scale as opposed to Scandinavia alone.
