Designed in 1964 the 2204 Wing Lounge Chair was inspired by Kaare Klint's 1920's sofa designs, which is evident in the form and shape created by the armrest's arching curve. Borge Mogensen was one of the most successful furniture designers of the 20th century, and the 2204 Wing Chair is perhaps his most recognised piece.

The name Børge Mogensen is only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to the original design, and not as a trade mark.
