The Børge Mogensen Style J39 Dining Chair is a high quality reproduction in the style of the original design.

The J39 is Børge Mogensen's most successful chair, inspired by his teacher Kaare Klint and American Shaker furniture. He designed the simple woven chair while development head of the furniture department of FDB, the Danish co-operative chain. The department's ambition was to make beautiful high-quality furniture available to everyone. They were particularly successful with the J39, now a classic piece of furniture for settings ranging from canteens and conference rooms to churches and private homes.

The name Børge Mogensen is only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to the original design, and not as a trade mark.

These chairs are made from solid wood and natural cord seats.
