The Eames DSW (Dining Height Side Chair Wood) was designed in the 1950s and originally exhibited in a 'low cost furniture design' competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. One of the first industrially manufactured chairs.

The chair features a fibreglass seat supported by shock points underneath, a high back sculpted shell with deep seat pocket making this chair extremely comfortable even for long term use, the waterfall front edge adding to that long term sitting experience. This classic variation from a group of designs features real Amercian Maple or Walnut legs and powder coated black metal base drawing influence from that iconic Paris landmark and of course generally known as the Eiffel base.
