The Wegner Style CH53 Stool is a high quality reproduction in the style of the original design. 

 

This CH53 style Stool was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1966.

 

The name Hans J Wegner is only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to the original design, and not as a trade mark.

These stools are made from solid wood and natural cord seats.

Was genuinely surprised at the quality of the stool and cording for the price. Great build quality, with nice wood throughout and no hint of cheap construction. These seem to be right on par with the official production models and to access this kind of quality for a quarter of the price is great.
