The Jens Risom Style Ottoman is a high quality reproduction in the style of the original design.

The lounge chair is among the most popular mid-century furniture designs, and was one of te first designs ever commissioned by Knoll. The Risom Style Lounge Chair incorporate elements of Scandinavian design. Although originally created in the mid-century, its unique look enables it to work perfectly with today's modern homes.

Jens Rison worked as a designer of both furniture and interiors at the Copenhagen office of Ernst Kuhn. He later moved to the United States and became the design director of Dan Cooper in New York. His designs heavily influenced the work of the mid-20th century and have proven to have remarkable staying power, with several pieces like the Risom Lounge Chair and Ottoman remaining a favorite today.

The name Jens Risom is only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to the original design, and not as a trade mark.
